Clay Osborne, President
After more than 25 years in the Corporate, Education, and Government sectors Clay Osborne, President of the True Insights Consulting LLC, brings a rich mix of corporate senior leadership, and academic wisdom to his coaching and consulting practice. He has been recognized for his talents in the areas of Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, and Organizational Effectiveness.
Clay is a certified master executive coach certified by the Assoc. of Corporate Executive Coaches (ACEC) and by the Prymid Resource Group inc in Team Advantage Coaching model.
His coaching and consulting services included his previous work as an Executive Coach in the Achieving Excellence Program, a signature leadership development program of NeigborWorks America in partnership with the Harvard University, J.F. Kennedy School of Executive Education designed to help executives build their leadership capacity and reposition their organizations to more effectively achieve performance-based change.
Clays last role prior to creating his consulting practice was as a Vice President, Human Resources and Talent Management, for Bausch + Lomb Inc., a global health & eye care company. He also led the Human Resource Divisions for the company’s Research & Development Organization and its Diversity & Inclusion functions. During his tenure in those roles Bausch & Lomb received national recognition for many of the programs under his leadership.
Clay joined Bausch + Lomb (B+L) in 1992 as Director of Employee Relations and progressively assumed greater responsibilities within the company, including roles as Vice President for Global Staffing, Health Services, Employee Relations, Privacy, Employee Engagement and cross functional responsibility for Ethics Compliance programs. Clay has a BA, and MSW from the State University of N.Y. at Albany, and completed the course work towards an Ed. D from the University of Mass. at Amherst.
He is licensed counselor (LCSW), with extensive experience coaching executives and leaders internal to Bausch + Lomb, and currently as a coach and business strategist for companies and business leaders throughout the US north east.
In addition to his coaching and organization effectiveness work, Clay is an adjunct Professor at the St. John Fisher College, Executive Leadership Program where he teaches Human Capital Management to students earning Doctorates in Executive Leadership. In addition, his consulting practice included his work at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Leadership Institute, as a RIT Minett Professor Emeritus.
Prior to Bausch & Lomb, Clay served in positions of significant responsibility including the positions as Deputy County Executive for Operations, Monroe County, N.Y., and Regional Director for the New York State Division for Youth, where he led the implementation of N.Y. State Juvenile Justice strategy for upstate N.Y. He also served as Asst. Professor, Social Work and Counseling at RIT. Early in his career he served as a Human Resource Manager for the Schaffer Brewing Company located in New York State.
Mr. Osborne ‘s leadership and involvement in the coaching and leadership community is well known and recognized. He is the recent past Chair of the Board of the ESL Federal Credit Union in Rochester, NY. In addition, to the Boards of Home Health Care of Rochester Inc. (HCR) where he heads their Compensation and Human Resource committee, The University of Rochester Eye Institute Advisory Board, and the Keuka College President’s advisory council.
He continues to chair the Workforce Diversity Network; a national organization focused on diversity, inclusion and equity practices and is a board member of the Rochester United Way Services Corp. He is a past chair of the boards of the Center for Governmental Research and the Career Development Services agencies located in Rochester, N.Y. He volunteers on the advisory board of the Parent Leadership Training Institute and is a charter member of the Rochester Area Community Foundation African American Giving Initiative.
Clay has built a reputation as an innovative, strategic thinker, a can-do person with a vast network of professional partners across the world. He continues to learn and share his passion for coaching leaders and consulting in the areas of strategic team alignment, performance-based change, organizational transitions and effectiveness.
He is certified by the Center for Creative Leadership to facilitate and administer the following 360 Assessment instruments: Benchmarks, Executive Dimensions, and Prospector, 360 by Design, Skill scope and Global Six.

He is an agile business leader with broad expertise that includes engineering, operations, marketing and sales, regulatory and public affairs, and human resources. Rahman has over 25 years' experience as an executive with a Fortune 25 company.
Rahman helped Verizon navigate and grow through major economic, industry and organization change. He managed P&L for a $1-billion market. He developed and implemented strategic initiatives that improved results and the work environment in over 200 Verizon call centers. He led initiatives to improve the engagement and performance of 100,000 employees across the U.S. Rahman educated employees to value inclusiveness and created programs to achieve, promote and retain a diverse, high caliber workforce.
As a Verizon executive, Rahman launched a suite of data services and emerging solutions that drove revenues from $600 million to over $1 billion. He led product development, management and revenue accountability for all data services targeted to small to medium businesses. This market included approximately 3,000,000 customers nationwide. He created and executed strategies that optimized customer satisfaction and productivity while growing the revenues.
He was a facilitator n the company’s culture change from engineering- to market-based provider. He created and implemented initiatives that directly improved employee morale which led to enhanced customer service. Rahman created a performance culture throughout Verizon and directed “think tank” project teams.
Recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer and led a non-profit community based organization and secured over $10M in resources to support services to the community focused primarily on Workforce Training, Re-Entry Employment & Training, High School Education, and Community Empowerment. The programs assisted over 10,000 families annually.
Rahman graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and is a graduate of Verizon’s Center for Creative Leadership.
